Cards Ranking


Cards ranking in Poker, highest and lowest cards, in some poker games the highest card can also be counted for the lowest.

In general the Ace is the highest card, then comes the King, Queen, Jack, Ten, Nine,Eight, Seven, Six, Five, Four, Threy and Deuce.

Note:
The ranking card of a two is called a deuce.
The ranking card of a three is called a trey.
There are no twos or threes in a poker deck.

The Ace can also be counted for the lowest card. In Low-ball, Razz or any High-Low Split poker game to make a five-high straight, 5-4-3-2-Ace is the best possible hand. It is also called a wheel or bicycle in the poker business.

Note:
In some low-ball poker games like Deuce-To-Seven low-ball, the Ace always counts for high. The best poker hand a player can have in this poker game is 7-5-4-3-2. You do not find this poker game in Las Vegas poker rooms, easily.
